FOUR people have been charged in connection with the robbery of a taxi driver, and a make off without payment from another taxi driver in Grimsby on Thursday 06 March.
A call was made to police in the early hours of Thursday 06 March following an incident Orwell Street, Grimsby in which a man stole money from the taxi driver. In a separate incident, which happened between 0505hrs and 0525hrs on the same morning, three people got into a taxi, asked the driver to take them to a location and then ran away without paying.
Later that day police made four arrests and on Friday 07 March the following people were charged with the following offences:
Kelli RUTHVEN-DICKINSON (22), of Duke Street, Grimsby was charged with one count of robbery and one count of make off without payment.
Bethany WOOLLISS (19), of Duke Street, Grimsby was charged with count of robbery, one count of make off without payment and one count of attempt robbery.
Daniel TRUSHELL (26) of Gloria Way, Grimsby was charged with one count of robbery and one count of make off without payment.
Thomas STUART (19) of Duke Street, Grimsby was charged with one count of robbery and one count of make off without payment.
All four appeared at Grimsby Magistrates Court on Saturday 08 March 2014.
